White Shoes

White Shoes

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”  ― Marilyn Monroe

Since I am rocking my Marilyn Monroe shirt, I wanted to share one of my favorite quotes by her (above) – I pretty much like every other thing that came out of her mouth! She is such a beauty and she spits out such beautiful poetic words filled with encouragement to women ! Here to Marilyn Monroe from one voluptuous woman to another! Let’s live life swinging our full hips towards any trouble that comes our away, whilst bouncing our bosoms at the joy-est moments in life! lol

Well I used to say you’ll never catch me wearing white shoes, not even on my wedding day! Something about white shoes oozes young girl, first-time-wearing-heels, childish innocence – just not womanly and grown enough for me!  lol.

My cousin passed down this white shoes, and I though I’ll be polite , I’ll let it rent space in my closet until I don’t feel too guilty and then I’ll get rid of it. WELL … something happened! I decided to clear my notions and preconceived thoughts about white shoes  since having to face it in my closet daily. So, I gave it one more chance and I loved it!! LOL. I paired it with several other looks just to be sure! Lesson of the day, never say never, heheh….
